As with the original Transit Connect Electric commercial van, which Azure Dynamics converts to electric-drive, buyers of the Transit Connect Electric wagon qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit, while California businesses may qualify for an additional $15,000 tax credit for the first Transit Connect Electric vehicle purchased and a $12,000 tax credit for each ensuing Transit Connect Electric up to a maximum of 100 vehicles.
